Drew's training program focuses on helping the horse develop self-carriage through it's rhythm and regularity while maintaining softness and fluidity. In order to have self-carriage, the horses must develop the strength and suppleness needed through appropriate exercises and training. By creating self-carriage through softness and helping the horse establish it's rhythm you can then add energy which enhances the expressiveness of the horse's natural gaits. Drew works with his clients to develop a training program that will allow the rider to reach their goals and maintain a happy, healthy equine partner.
Drew's training program helps his clients understand and apply all these elements which are fundamental in both ridden work and in the sport of combined driving.
